1/2 cup prior to adding Kirkland brand detergent to water in washer without clothes

pH of around 12 with just the washing soda added

3/4 cup of Kirkland brand detergent added to water in the washer. More foam created than without Washing Soda.

pH is still around 12 after Kirkland detergent was added to washer water with no clothes

pH of a saturated solution of Washing Soda is around 12-13

saturated solution of washing soda made in a small cup

full load of laundry added

pH of the water with the full load of laundry soaking in it is around 12
pH of the wash/rinse water is around 7-8

1 1/4 cup of baking soda added to the water in the rinse cycle

pH of saturated solution of baking soda is around 8-9

pH of water in the rinse cycle with clothes soaking is around 11-12

The rinse cycle water pH appears to have been lowered slightly after 20 min once the baking soda was added
